Steering Cable

Is it possible to remove the inside of the steering cable and not ruin it? I'm asking because mine seems to be froze, not completely but it's very stiff.

I don't think so. You could however hang it up and spray penetrating oil so it will seep down inside and lube it up some. Been there and done that. But honestly if its that stiff your best bet is to replace it.
