Substitute adhesives

I'm redoing the floor in my 86 Starcraft. I bought nautolex vinyl to be placed on marine plywood. Has anyone used other adhesives other than the nautolex 88? Can I substitute another product? Thanks!

I just redid my boat with nautolex and used the solvent based contact cement (DAP?) available at any hardware store. Give each piece a coat, let dry, and give one surface a second coat and let get very tacky, almost dry. Put the two together and rub the surface wearing gloves, nautolex is rough on the hands, and when it's dry it's al but permanent. I used about two and a half gallons on a complete redo of a 16 FT boat.
