I just finished fishing the TA TA Tuna Tournament out of Indian River, Delaware. We fished on the BlackBart with is the Grady that I am running with right now.

What an awesome 2 days of fishing!

TOTALS:

2 Bluefin Tuna
27 Mahi from 4 to 15 lbs
2 Blue Marlin (Raised not hooked)
1 White Marlin (Raised not hooked)

Missed 2 tuna knockdowns

The way we work is that Vince and myself bring 2 or 3 guys who are the 'anglers" for the day, they reel in the fish. i set lines and work the leaders on caught fish. Capt. Vince sets the troll and gaffs the fish. Vince and myself take turns running the boat.

Day 1 Gary reels in this Bluefin:

We do not think that we were able to place in the money but the tournament does not end until 3 pm today (you can fish 2 out of the 6 days) so we are waiting for the final results.

Very nice. You guys are livin' the life.

I would love to get in on some decent saltwater action. Bottom bumping in Florida is fun on occasion but I would much rather do the kind of stuff that you guys do.

I will drop you a line - I almost always end up with lots of extra meat after these trips
