Been trying different things in my boat to distribute weight, pick up speed, etc...
I had this console built three weeks ago by FishOn Fabrications in Atlanta, Ga. Installed it, but didn't get the results I expected from moving my weight forward. Also I only have a 1448, so it took up more room than I liked.
It would work out much better, I believe, in a 1648 and up.
It is made from schedule 40 aluminum tube. The OD of the legs is 1.66" and it was sized to straddle an Igloo 54 qt marine cooler.
It was built so you can run wires up the leg and into the box. I was planning on covering the openings with Diamond plate and mounting my fishfinder on the right side, placing a 12v 7ah battery in the hole on the left side.
Looking for $300 and hoping someone local needs it, but I can ship it otherwise.

Also it shipped to me bare aluminum. I primed it with self etching primer and gave it two coats of rustoleum camo green.
