Tips on installing front deck onto 14 foot jon boat

I am looking to install a front deck on my 14 foot tracker topper jon boat. The thing is I have some what of a clue to what I am doing, but I need help. I don't know how I am going to do the support for the plywood.

That is my boat... I want the deck to be from the first seat to the middle seat, and the plywood will be on top of the seats. How should I do they supporting frame so that it doesn't collapse? Any advice would be great.
 
You can either use wood or aluminum angle attached to the ribs that run across the bottom of your boat. To attach them you can either use screws or rivets, just be careful about what kind of screws you use. You can search the forums and find more information about what kind of screws would be best. Good luck.
 
You will need to support it with aluminum angle or 2x2's but don't use treated wood it will eat the aluminum up over the years. Stainless bolt and screws are fine to use and you will need to seal the wood so it doesn't rot. This is the best forum I have found so just search and you find a lot about this deck build. If you look at my post "fix or scrap" you can see what steel and treated wood can do to aluminum in over 20 + years. Hope this helps a lil.
