Tracker Panfish PF project

Ok guys, here is the boat that I am working on. I have already done the demo work and this is the canvas that I have to work with. I am attempting to convert this into a resevoir boat and would love to have some input from some of you guys on what you would do. Because of cost reasons I have decided that I will probably go with wood instead of aluminum.

What I would appreciate most if some suggestions on how you would set up the deck and storage hatches and would you make your own hatches or purchase them off the internet.

I have included some pictures of what I have to work with and would appreciate all feedback... especially from someone that might have done a renovation job on a panfish in the past. I have searched the internet and so far have not come up with anything.

That boat has some good potential, but could you put out what the main fish is you're going to be seeking? So many different ways to rig that boat, so it's hard to say without knowing your primary fishing interest.

I mostly will be targeting bass. I belong to a electric only bass club and my current setup is way too heavy. I have a BassTracker v17 that looks alot like your boat that your restoring but I dont have the heart to tear it apart to loose the weight. Once I get the PF fixed up then I will probably sell the Bass Tracker.
