Trolling motor foot pedals

Does anyone know if you can remove the foot pedestal and reinstall it on a bow mounted trolling motor? I wanna install one and run the cable under the bow so I can keep it out of the way?

I don't know specifically what trolling motor you have, but most have the ability to replace the foot pedal when it wears out or breaks, so it should come off.

It may be really difficult to stow/deploy it if the cable isn't free to move.

True I didn't think about that I've redone my idea on my boat layout so I won't be doing it that way
