Hi Guys, I've been lurking this site for awhile, I picked up a '89 14' Crestliner, ratty interior, but solid, 40 HP Yamaha tiller. I am putting carpet, (3) pedistal seats, TOHO Livewell (was in the boat when purchased) I put the livewell along the starboard side to make room for the 3rd seat. Taking advice from this forum, I ordered 6 ga. cables for trolling motor, mounted the battery under the front Pedistal, cables under the floor to the transon. Problem......I fish with my brother and if he's in the bow pedistal seat, he's always asking "what's the depth now" I have two finders, a humminbird 190C which I am going to install in the stern, I also have an Eagle Strata 128 that I would like to put in the bow, both are 200 Hz units, would like to run both at the same time. Has anybody mounted (2) transducers on the transom and had it work w/o cross talk? 2nd problem, is that since I will have a trolling motor on port side will I need to mount the transducer on the motor and the bow mount on the stern side? Or won't this work at all......I'm in Minnesota, mainly fish walleyes and crappies.

Thanks,
Redpine

Welcome to the site.
I'm pretty sure your going to have interference problems.
I'm thinking if one was a bow mount and the other in the stern you would still have a problem.
Frequency is the same by the time it bounces back, the units will be confused.
40hp on a 14 footer,must scat pretty good.

They will have issues if both are on the stern. If one is on bow motor it would depend on depth you are using them if it would see the other one.
