Plywood was 5/8” (was unnecessary heavy but free) from demo at work, outdoor carpet and traditional carpet cement (not water soluble) from Lowes. Lasted from 1996 to when I sold it in 2024. There was some wear spots after 28 years. I put floatation under the floor and you could remove the drain plug and cruise with the boat, was slow with the weight of the water. Make sure to leave the original factory floatation in and at the original locations.</blockquote>
