I want to get a boat, Im gonna be catfishing and bowfishing off it.its gonna be 16' what ever I get. I was wondering about a v-bottom. What are the pros and cons?

The V-bottom is better for rough water, the v cuts through the water. The flat bottom will ride alot rougher, but the flat bottom is to me better for the big wide deck up front you will want for bowfishing. I would recommend the flat bottom for bow fishing. Also the flat bottom will also go in shallower water with more weight up front...A modified V is sort of the best of both worlds...almost like a flat bottom but with a little V in the front...Flintcreek.
