Never heard of this company, they seem to have a nice light and value priced line of boats..... anybody have an opinion on the quality or anything else reference this brand?

look at backwoodslanding.com . I see Weldbilts on the water all the time. They are absolutely solid and are built to take a beating. If I am ever in the market for a new jon, Weldbilt will be at the top of my list.

I bought a 1548MV 2 years ago and love it! You don't see too many around here but we have a dealer local. I have no complaints about their boats. If I ever decide to sell I'd certainly get another.

i currently own a 1648 mv w/ a 30 hp tohatsu tiller 4 stroke efi pt/t. i ordered the 100 ga. bought at backwoods landing.i have mine set up like a bass boat with the big front deck w/ storage. i have the split rear seat w/ storage. one could be a livewell if i plumbed it. i ahve my tm battery mounted up fron in the storage . my engine will push it at 29 mph w/ one and 2 will hit 27. 3 guys drop me down to 25, but i use a lot more gas. u can see my boat on their facebook page.i have had it for about a yr now. iam still tinkering with it. my only problem to date was the tm bolts came loose. quick repair. right now i might have a loose seat base, iam not sure yet. i sent a fellow i work with to them and he bought a 1652 mv. the trailer is pretty good also.way better then i expected. if u have any more ? let me know.

Thanks Everyone.

I noticed for a welded boat, well their boats on their stats page are pretty light, which is exactly what I want. Anyone know how accurate those weights are? Seem about a hundred pounds lighter than the competition depending on size.

I don't know the accuracy but they are lighter. But each added option adds weight. One suggestion I have is to go for the diamond plate floor

i weighed my setup at a cert scale.1280 lbs. that is withgear in the boat. i tow with a 4 cyl nissan p/u. i carpeted mine and installed a tiny tach and a ff/gps.like i said i ordered the 100 gage. my last jon was 100 gage so i stayed with it.
