What 2 batteries can I add to this space?

Hi,

I have a spot 23" long, 13" wide, 10" deep that I hope to be able to add 2 x batteries to run a 24v trolling motor.

The spot is in a perfect spot to power the trolling motor but the size is odd.

I haven't been able to find a way to get 2 batteries in that spot.

Any suggestions on battery sizes that might work?

Either two size 27's or two 24's side by side should work.

I see that a group 27 battery is 12.00" x 6.63" x 9.06" LxWxH.

I can see that I should be able to get two in there but not in a battery box or on a battery tray because of the height limitation.

Perhaps I can make a real thin tray out of 1/4" aluminum.
