The water pump worked but was week and the carb was gummed up enough to make it stall and not want to idle,I took the carb apart cleaned out the ethanol mess in the boat and cleaned all the jets, put it back together, cleaned the fuel filter and replaced the water pump impeller and have been running it ever since. So long as it was stored upright and not put away with some sort of problem it'll likely be just fine. I would also change the gear oil in the lower unit.</blockquote>
