There is a way to adjust the sensitivity on it but I'll be damned if I remember how Lol  I want to say it's in the settings menu on the fob but I may be thinking of something else.   You may already know this but the battery life indicator can be changed from the 3 bars to a numerical value which Is much better for keeping track of how much you've used.  I had it for almost a year before I figured that out lol
