Hi guys,I'm new so bear with me. I've inherited a 95 basstracker. I need to know what kind of wood would be best to replace the floor and front deck. The front deck is 5/8 plywood and the floor is 1/2" plywwod. I've looked at marine grade but in my area I can only find 1/2" and need 5/8" for the deck because of a plate that mounts to the deck for a hinge to rivet to. Thanks for any suggestions. If dedawg1149 is out there I would like to ask you a couple of things, having seen the excellent job you did on your tracker. Thanks!

If you have an home improvement center they can probably order any size from another store. It may be a little more expensive but well worth that.

:WELCOME: i used 1/2 inch marine grade on both my floor and deck .the deck has plenty of bracing under it .it is real stable.anything i can help you with i will

Thanks guys.Hey dedawg, what i wanted to know was where you got some of the accessories like the vents on the back and the shifter assembly, but i think I've found most of it. This boat has less than 10hrs on the motor but it has been sitting outside for eight years......This site rules for info!

post some pics when you get a chance.the vents i got on ebay the throttle i already had just clean it up and painted, the seats i got on sale at cabelos

I used to rebuild neglected punetunes :LMFAO: and we used exterior grade BC fir plywood for everything even the floor.Held up really well unless the boat was being left on the water then we coated the wood with epoxy.Still came out cheaper than some marine ply.Just my experience with wood.
