i have a 1980s johnson 9.9 2 stroke model number j10rcse. i am looking to get a new motor cover for it. the old one is sun bleached and the stickers are getting old. the motor it self is still in great shape though. does anybody know where i can get a new motor cover so i can make her look...

im planning on leaving the trolling motor in the rear just mostly cause foot controls are too pricy. and as far as the paint goes it was green and camo when i bought it then the red was a spray on primer and the silver is actually a polished aluminum paint.

walmart does sell roll on bedliner. i bought a quart of herculiner from them at i think around like 23 bucks. worked good for me.

just picked up a 14 ft gamefisher today off a guy from craigslist. i've modded a couple of v-hauls but this is my first flat bottom. first thing i'm going to do is just get it stripped and painted but after that i'm not sure which direction i'm going to go. i'm open to any and all suggestions...

i just cut out plywood to fit and braced it with 1x4's

alright after new plugs, starting fluid, and about 400 yanks on the cord the motor finally kicked over. it was an all day project but i got her in tune and she's running like a sweetheart now.

i just got my hands on a early 70's johnson 9.9 but it isn't running. its getting fuel and the plugs are firing but motor won't turn over. i'm going to the store to buy new plugs and a can of starting fluid today. if that doesn't work does anybody know anything else i can try. any advice would...
