Wide 12ft boat vs narrow 14ft boat? I CAN ONLY KEEP ONE!!!

Post by Stumpalump »

Keep the one in the best condition. All equal keep the Valco. Everybody that owns them likes them. I'm on my second one and would buy a 12 in a heartbeat.

What motors do you use? I thing the Alumacraft is rated 25hp? What about the Valco and more to the point what do you have?

I'd take the wider boat any day. stability matters more than length when your fishing.

I'm in for the Valco as well - wide and deep = stability IMO at least. Tough problem to have LOL
