My family grew up in Florida - Fishing was the passion for just about everyone.
My uncle was a very close friend of the late Curt Gowdy from Wyoming. I remember
when we were kids back in the 60s, Mr. Gowdy invited my uncle to Wyoming for some hunting.
Since we had never experienced snow, he invited me and my brother to go with him. WOW what an honor !!
Upon leaving for a hunt, Mr. Gowdy told me and my brother to go ice fishing while they were gone
as the fish were really biting.
That evening, Mr. Gowdy and my uncle returned from their hunt and saw me and my brother on the sofa
all tuckered out and our shirts wet from perspiration . . . . Mr. Gowdy asked if we caught any fish
and we replied . . . .
Mr. Gowdy, after we got a hole cut in the ice big enough for the motor boat, we were just too tired to fish.
So we came back home.

Great mess of fish you have there !!!!
