The lap strake hull design looks similar to a starcraft. Looks to be a nice rig if you got the title to it. Lots of fish left to be caught in from the looks of it.

I would paint the inside tan. But just My opinion, the white will blind you in the sun. You don't want a dark color because of the heat it will draw. You mentioned boards, if you are using them make they aren't treated. They have copper and will corrode the aluminum and destroy the boat with...

Got these cypress planks today for $30, leftovers at small sawmill. Going to use for transom and seat boards in the starcraft. Widest board is 16". I think they are gonna work great.

Thanks guys. I plan on repainting it inside and out. Replacing all the wood also have to rebuild the two floatation compartments. And of course finish the 35 Elto, I set it on transom yesterday. Sure looks good hanging off the rear.

Here's my new one. 64 Starcraft with factory livewell. New old tin for me.
