1970's Polarcraft CF 2051 Motor Size?

Hello everyone. New to the site. Hoping someone could give me some guidance. I have a acquired an old flat bottom Jon boat. As the title says, its a Polarcraft CF2051. As it sits now, its completely bare. Nothing in it and no motor. It used to have a console and an old 40hp motor. My question is, what is the max motor I can go? The information plate is gone. I get somewhat conflicting info when googling. Last thing I seen I can max out at 70hp. I was hoping for at least 90hp since I have access to one. But, worry that may be too much.

iBoat says 40hp max for a mid-70's of that model. Seems light to me for a 20' boat. I might have looked it up incorrectly, who knows.

Tiller steered boats will have a lower motor rating.

If it's a light, flat-bottom boat, that 40 will make it fly.

One spec I did find says its around 300lbs. Feels like it weighs that much when I pick it up.

Lol yea, I've looked it up three different times and found different answers. 40hp, 65hp, and 70hp. I guess go for the biggest one and see what happens? May have to add some Float Pods to help with weight.
