Water looks like glass. Nice pic!

We get the heavy tule fog in the Central Valley. The lakes I go to are sometimes high enough to be above it, but if not, it is slow going until it burns off.

It got thicker as the morning went on. So bad I could see no more than 20 feet. I know the lake well, but we all know how easy it is to get twisted around with no visibility. Put my charts to work.

Today was great at the lake. Saw these two mature eagles enjoying the moon early this AM

It was like that last Friday. It didn’t clear until 9:30. The top water bite was great until the sun burned thru.

SoCal doesn’t have the lock on fools! Plenty to go around in NJ/NYC.

Only had two ‘yakers out with us that AM.
Well, I can't argue with that. There's been plenty of multi-car accidents on highways across the country in fog, with idiots driving normal speeds for a clear day.

Used to be a common occurrence along Hwy99 which runs north/south in California's Central Valley. One of the worst involved 108 vehicles with two dead and 41 injured. That one was extreme. Still those pile up accidents were common. Might still be, IDK. In the old days when tule fog was really bad, Highway Patrol would lead convoys up and down Hwy 99 to keep folks at safe speeds. I don't know if they still do that.
