Great to still see you're at it. I got redirected from your thread on Damon's boat. I think this post ought to be refreshed, because it is so relevant. Great job, even better with it in action. BTW, I personally prefer fresh crappie fillets to flounder. Spotted trout, second best.

I live outside of Sanford, in the country. Cape fear, Harris, and Jordan all within 5 to 10 miles. I've been fishing with my smaller Jon boat for a couple years, and I cant hack the loading and unloading. I've got a thread in the trailer forum on a new northern tool trailer kit I bought for it.

No current pics. Just bumped an ancient post in the boat house. Still got the boat, just used it as it was and neglected it for the past couple years. When I got the fishin itch again, I decided to jump back on the "big" boat. I've been using my 1236 since I parked the Monark.

My 16 Monark is laid out the exact same way, factory rod holders and all. I really want to take my middle bench out, and have the space open with a floor. Mine seems to flex at the top of the gunnels if you manually try. Is that why you didn't take yours out?

I thought about modifying the bunks to sit back further, but not sure if the weight of the boat with battery and trolling motor would be too much for just the bunks to support. I'll probably just have to try, since I already dropped the loot for the trailer. Hopefully it wont mess with the...

I just bought a trailer from Northern tool, brand ironton. It is a kit trailer. It states that its for personal watercraft up to 12 foot. I'm at the point of installing the bunks, and trying to figure out the winch, bow stop configuration. Does anybody have any experience with this trailer...

Any of you guys seen the ads for reelfoat lake, TN. I always wanted to try one of those pakages, with a couple buds. Four days, three nights, boat, ice, tackle. Anybody ever went on one of these? Every time I researched it online, the big attraction was the bald eagle tours.
