I'll be on vacation for 10 days just outside of Tazewell TN on Norris Lake. Im leaving next friday and wondering if there is anyone on these forums that have some fishing info. I'll be towing my rig out and i plan on spending a couple days working the Clinch River and whatever else i find out that way.

I've been reading local reports and they are informative, just looking for other info..

Thanx in advance..

I am leaving tomorrow for Norris Lake at Flat Hollow Marina. We are renting a floating cottage there. I dont really know too much about the fishing there, last time we did not catch anything, I mean nothing..but we had fun..

Any of you guys seen the ads for reelfoat lake, TN. I always wanted to try one of those pakages, with a couple buds. Four days, three nights, boat, ice, tackle. Anybody ever went on one of these? Every time I researched it online, the big attraction was the bald eagle tours.

some locals on other fishing forums refer to Norris as the dead sea, so..... Douglas is not that far away I don't think, might consider that lake for fishing or Ft Loudon.

Yea.. we call Lake Milac's the dead sea and it holds ton's of fish.. just depends on if you know how to find them or not. Ive been going through more and more fishing forums and im getting a great idea on the amount of large fish in Norris, cat's,stripers, smallies and walleye's.. i'll be using my typical baits and pattern's.

Used to fish Norris 4-5 times a year when my in-laws were still alive and we'd go down to the Knoxville area 4-5 times a year. Usually did good with walleyes and large mouth, sometimes if it was slow, we'd troll and usually hook some good ones. But, I'm talking 15 plus years ago??? Brother-in-law still does well on Norris putting in on the northeast end of the lake.... launched just west of La Follette.
