    Favorite Tool?

Every guy should have one: a fencing pliers, with heavy hammer head and single stout claw for pulling staples, lower wire cutter on inside of handles. Don't use it much, but it's the type of tool that would have Tim Taylor of Tool Time, grunting. You just WANT to use it. :D

14 Alumacraft Grandfather Grandson Mod project

Generic SOS pads worked wonders for me on the Model A Alumacraft I reconditioned. Should be some images in one of the inks below. There is, or was, a product called er..."Shark-hide?" or something like that to prevent oxidation after polishing, but it was pricey as I recall. Best wishes.

    Bee's nest help

Here's some help to have you answer your own question: How well do you think that your reasonable approach to a negotiated settlement would be to hundreds of poison=laden insects who are programmed to fight to the death to defend their hive home? oh...and who don't speak your language? just...

    Help me with 9.9/9.8 choices

I'm not that bright, but for the weight issues and the vast difference in price between the $2200 engines and a $500-700 OMC 10 hp, on a light , short hull, there is no question in my mind which way I would go. Your boat, your choices, but new isn't always the best choice for practical...

The 15 will be about the perfect motor for that boat. Protect the wood first; paint as you choose later. OR...stain, then protect the wood. Not a bad grain to the wood as is. If you don't like it, Paint later. Be safe.

On the TV show, SHARK TANK tonight, there was a guy trying to get financial aid for his business of building chicken coops for folks and selling them for around $1,00o to $6 or $8 thousand, and was looking to expand to European markets. (He didn't get a following, but mostly because he just...
