Easy to remedy...remove bow light and replace with a socket, then but a bow light on a pole high enough to clear the trolling motor. On my boat a 15" tall bow light is above the motor when in the stored position.

You can purchase the track material by the foot. I bought mine from a local metal distributor. You can also buy or make the T nuts that slide into the track. Being a tool maker and having access to the equipment, I made my own. The side of my boat was full of holes from all the rod holders...

If you look at past rate adjustments, you will see things like gasoline are included when prices are low, but omitted in the calculations when gas is high !! Like I said...government math !!
