Picked up a little bit of a miss as it warmed up. Plugs looked ok and had good spark so I didn’t change them. I think it’s a timing issue but I’m going to change the plugs first and see if that fixes it.

Once you have everything where you want it, I'd add some red loctite to the nuts. Nothing worse than losing a nut while running down the road.

Parts motor in my area are too expensive. I've seen locked up motors listed for $200 plus.

IT IS ALIVEEE! I was able to find a replacement nozzle well. Mine is part number 0396605 and is listed as discontinued on all of the major parts websites. 0397189 is a direct replacement. Took me a lot of searching and a couple of nudges in the right direction from members here, but I got it...

Part came in yesterday and I got everything rebuilt today. It is in fact the same part, just under a different part number

I’d check how far the corrosion around the smaller holes has spread first. Chances are, if it corroded enough to eat through, the metal around them is going to be extremely thin and brittle as well.

Tried with the model carb number and motor number. No joy on either. I’m hoping that the shop manual tells me. If not, I’m sure it’s on YouTube somewhere.

I can't find a more specific kit for that carb. Even looking at the most current motor that used that carb (1998), all that is available is the kit I have.

I just downloaded the factory service manual for the motor. I didn’t see an option for a factory rebuild kit when I bought the kit I have but I’ll check and see if there is one for a ‘93 since they appear to use the same carb.

I was thinking det-cord. Not sure how you’d get it thin enough and still be effective; but, I’m sure they could figure it out.
