    I'm not sure my 2008 was powder-coated. If so it should be more durable than it is. The new ones are listed as powder-coated.

    Like my 1448 a lot. As said above, paint is not too durable but otherwise I'm very happy.

    Those in the North... winter cover?

    Mine spends it's time outdoors with a heavy plastic tarp over it. You have to have some kind of support to aid in shedding the snow and water and if the tarp isn't kept taught the low spots will collect water and it will usually find its way in. For the winter I put on a second tarp to be sure...

    A perfect fall afternoon/evening. Went out for a few hours and put froggie to the test. Had a couple on but couldn't boat any. There were only a few boats on the lake, a little breeze and sunshine. Who cares about fish anyway...
