Exactly, This is why I suggested basing it around points, instead of individual species. I realize that not everyone has musky in their area, or even has the tackle to target them if they wanted. Everyone could join in, and we could base the points off of how common the fish are caught, and...

What about a points thing? The larger the fish, the more the points? Like me for instance....Here lately Musky has been my thing....but I might only catch 1-2 of those a month if I really go after them(and lucky) every weekend. A musky would be more points, but obviously someone fishing for...

I like to fish a jig alot. For trailers, I just recently found one that I like....It's made by Zoom...it's called a "Creepy Crawler Twin Tail"...its basically like a twin tail grub, but a smaller profile which makes for a nice trailer. I also really like the Net Bait Pace Chunks, but the "claws"...

I wouldn't rule out the St. Croix Legend Tournaments. :) Or if you could find a deal on a Loomis Mossyback, those are sweet rods as well. :) The ones in the 6'6-7' range run just a tad more(typically) over the Cumara's.

I would look into a 1236 jonboat if I were you. Typically abit heavier than a 1232, but the added stability is definetly worth it. :beer:

Actually, The induron was replaced by the "Akena"...same exact insides, it just uses a cast casing instead of a machined casing.

Just let me know. :wink: The only difference in Float n' Fly to using a slip bobber, is you can't. The jigs you use(most commonly 1/16oz) are so light, its hard to get the line to "slip" through the bobber, so most people just us a stationary bobber, thus the need for a long rod so you can...

Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time for musky on Dale Hollow. There is one guy that I know of that guides on the lake, but all they do it troll...which in my opinion is boring as i'll get out. And the way they troll, you really have to have special gear to troll at the depths they do(30-40ft+)...

Thats kind what i'm wondering about. Not really sure if it would be worth the trouble of trying to make it myself. And i'm sure that one would be better quality(welded, powdercoated, etc) than the one I could come up with...haha. :(
