Walleye and Bass spinning reel opinions.

A few that would be on my list.... Shimano Sedona....if you can find some of the older models, I think you can still pick those up for around 40 bucks or so.(I have two of these) Pflueger GX-7 Trion, or possibly President if you can find a good deal on one. (bought my dad a Trion for his last...

    Braided on Spinning reel?

Yup! I got 20lb on both of my spinning rods....love it! I'm like you, I got tired of all the mono memory and line twists. The extra sensitivity is a big plus as well.

Got me a new toy to try out...

So I have had a time with these aluminum props on my boat....I don't have good luck with them. Things seem to just jump up out of the water and hit my prop before I can do anything about it... :x . Anyways, I have been wanting to get me a good stainless steel prop for my boat for awhile....one...

best bang for your buck fish finder with GPS and water temp

I'm not up to speed on all the current models, but from what I have found....One really good site to purchase GPS and/or depthfinder units is here.....https://www.threeriversmarine.net/. This site seems to do alot of business, and I beleive has about the best prices as well. Might be worth...

    Minnows?

This would not be a bad idea if you got any small streams nearby, and considering it is OK to do so(might want to check with the laws). Plus could actually save you money in the long run, and give you something to do in the mean-time. :)

    Abu Garcia question

Does that little nub(where the red arrow is pointing)...is that one entire piece, or an individual one? If you have a good exploded view of the reel, if you look at it close enough you should be able to track down if all the pieces are there or not?

    Abu Garcia question

The button should click back when you start cranking the handle. Is this an everytime thing, or does it sometimes click back? I had an issue similar to this with my C3 6500's where my button was sticking due to lack of grease on a "rubbing" surface inside the side cover, and all I had to do was...

    Jugging made lazy

Yeah, Thats the way..... Guy posts a thread trying to possibly give someone an idea they can use, and you criticize him about what he's posting about. Especially considering you've probably never even done it before. No one asked if you approve.

    Microsoft Support info

Yeah, My laptop came with Vista(64 bit version....which i've heard is supposed to be abit better as far as problems) and I haven't really had any "problems" out of it, however my last computer ran on XP which I did prefer over Vista.

    Microsoft Support info

So Vista was crap and not as many people switched over(thus, they didn't make as much $$$)....so now their gonna force them to update to Windows 7.

    Tomato Early Blight?

I haven't been able to find the exact cause of it, but here is a pretty good read I found regarding blight. There are actually three different diseases which are all very similar....early blight(pictured above), late blight, and "tomato leaf spot". Anyways, Here is the article I found....I also...

    Tomato Early Blight?

Is anyone else having problems with their tomatoes with this? I just done a little bit of research online and found there is a few options of treatment....just wondering if anyone has tried any? The options I have read about are these... Some type of Copper fungicide? Or I also found a product...

    Bilge Pump

I seriously doubt it. They are designed to be ran through a 12v source. Even if you could get one to run, I don't think it would run very long before killing those AA's.

    Greasing Hubs

Like Bassboy said, Sounds like you definetly have the EZ lube hubs(same as mine). And also like he said, if you've got water in there like that, It wouldn't hurt to go ahead and remove the hubs and clean them out good and replace the bearings. It's not too tough of a job, especially if you got...

The 2010 Official Vegetable Garden thread!

No, We haven't tried freezing them. Seems like I heard my dad mention something about that, but I think he said he wasn't crazy about them....compared to canned anyway. Some of my plants are starting to look abit sad, I think they may be getting some sort of blight(sp?) or something. I just...

The 2010 Official Vegetable Garden thread!

As my first official post in the Vegetable Garden thread, I'm just now starting to get some quantity of tomatoes coming in. Took mine and combined them with his and we canned some tomato juice. We got a bunch more coming in and this coming week sometime we're gonna tackle canning whole(or...

    Boat Cover

That one would probably be pretty good(6-year warranty....I would imagine a pro-rated price for a new one; 2-year free replacement). As far as the size....It is really kinda hit or miss with those sizes....it all depends on how they(the manufacturer) designed it to fit. If your gonna have seats...

    Boat Cover

Well, To get a "good" boat cover, Your best bet is going to be having one custom made with a good material(ie. Sunbrella), so it can be custom fit to your specific boat and needs. They can also customize your preferred attachment as well(ie. buttons around the perimeter of your boat rail or just...
