That is incorrect. There is a "continuous" and a "manual" mode. In manual as you move left or right you take your foot slightly off the power pedal, but in continuous mode, power is always on the speed you have set and you can make left/right adjustments as the boat is under power.

Most times I run my front mounted Powerdrive V2 from the back of the boat. Long cable.

Well, the leak when an extra person is in my boat is still happening. I have no idea where it is coming from...somewhere in the front 1/4 of the boat I'm guessing. Me and my two 80lb dogs, no leaks.....me and a 250lb person up front and I'm bilging at every stop. Anyone know of a underboat...

I went with the same type of bracket on recommendation from gillhunter...(I found one a bit less $$ tho $11ea.). Unlike him, I used self tapping screws. Bracket works like a champ....just make sure you have the seat exactly where you want it before screwing it down.
