I really appreciate all of yall's help and suggestions. I've still got a long way to go but at least I will be able to fish out of it now. I...

Well I finally got all the sanding and stripping done. WHEW!!!!! Here are some pics of the stripped down version. I bought two cans of self etching primer and got that on but two cans didn't go very far so I'll have to get more to finish.

Got some work done on my boat today and plan on doing more tomorrow. I'll take some pics tomorrow. This boat has had a hard life, it has been beat to pieces, its cleaning up nice though. A lot of elbow grease and a lot more to go.

Thanks panfried. I checked out the link and I agree that might just be my fix. I did consider putting a new drain in the transom but wasn't sure what kind of trouble that would be plus I don't have any way of doing the welding myself. I greatly appreciate your time and help.

Hello all. I would like to start out by saying that I consider it to be a privilege to be in a forum with some of the smartest people ever. I have looked through a lot of the mods and I am amazed at the ideas that I have seen. I have a 1433 aluminum flat bottom. On my registration card it says...
