A Vacuum Leak will cause high idle as well.

If the Impeller is good it should Pump Some Water. I look for obstruction in the Water Passages. Have you run it with Ear Muffs on it?

Does it have State Registration Numbers on the Bow? Maybe the DNR can help if it does.

The Motor's Lean at low RPM's. The Carburetor needs Cleaned/Rebuilt. I'd guess Crap left from running E10 Gas.

I had a Cover made this Spring. It had to fit around the Trolling Motor, 2 Anchor Mates and the Outboard, with the ability to Tilt the Motor with the cover on. I paid $600 for it, and it's worth every Penny.

Look around for an Automotive Starter/Alternator/Generator Rebuilder. They usually do everything from Motorcycle to Semi Truck.

I have a 1979 Grumman 4.4. Its Riveted (some only 3/4" apart). Never had any leaks. Grumman built Thousands of Fighter Planes for WWII.

Pic 2,3, & 5 appear to be a bilge Vent. Pic 1 may be the Socket for the Bow Light. My 4.4 is similar, but has the old type Female Socket.

I have a 79 Grumman 4.4. The "B" hole is the Boss for the Drain Plug. Is "A" possibly the Intake for a Livewell?

I used RustOleum Bed Liner Spray in my Grumman. Slightly Rough texture, not Slippery when wet.

My Friend David is Autistic. I had him in Children's Church years ago. He has grown into A young man that I Respect A lot.

Look for an older Craftsman. They used to build Good Tools.

I have a 1976 Grumman 4.4. Its Figured in some places spaced 3/4" apart (Think WWII Fighter Plane) I've owned it 11 years, never had any leaks.
