I don't think those specs are right. A 2018 1754 Grizzly is max rated at 75HP according to the Tracker website. And that boat hasn't changed in a number of years. I see older ones running 40 and 60 hp motors all the time.

You might not like this advice .... but I'd ditch that motor and get something newer and already working well. I only say that because I've spent countless hours in my barn fiddling with old small outboards .... and spending way too much money and time tracking down and buying parts .... only...

You can't go wrong with a Crestliner. They are widely considered the gold standard in aluminum boats. The Kodiak has an awesome layout!
