Nice little boat! Take it easy in the rough seas! My buddy had the 14' version of your boat with a yamaha 15 on it and he busted the hull chasing bonito in some serious chop! I think he snapped 2 or 3 of the keelsons in half. Just a word of caution, have fun out there!

15hp is way to much for that boat!

I use a small danforth anchor with a couple feet of chain, I also carry an extra 100' of rope just in case. if you have enough scope any quality anchor should hold.

I put a couple coats of latex on a piece of blue foam because it is next to a fuel tank and I wanted to protect it in case of any incidental contact. It seems to be holding up just fine so far.

Gluvit is designed to be used on the inside of the hull to seal leaks so if you can get to the inside of the hull you can use it. Not sure of a leak sealing product that can go on the outside upside down. I have seen some paint/coatings to make the bottom slick that you can put on upside...

If I was doing it I think I would run a support down the middle length wise to make it level with the height of the sides. If you take a look at some starcraft mod threads you will see what I mean. Just my 2 cents, good luck and post lots of pics.

Should be fine if you trailer it. Rinse everything in fresh water after use. The trailer will eventually fall apart.

I would go with bondo, it's not waterproof but should be fine if sealed and covered with vinyl. I would shy away from the "rock hard", if its what I think it is I think it will crack.

Glad to hear you got out on the water, I am jealous! I know you probably don't care but 22mph seems slow for a 25hp on a 14' vhull. Maybe the prop is miss matched?
