    My new LED bow lights

I do believe the strip leds are not coast guard approved. Unless they say it on them. I would be real careful with those. You could use the removable ones that sit up higher when you plug them in

    Rubber isolators for

I used the provided washers that came with the motor. I tried without before . Never again. .

What Transducer for Side Scan on my Jon Boat?

Humminbird and Lowrance ducers are not interchangeable. With that said what I did so I didn’t have to worry about motor position was to put two side imaging ducers on the back. One on each side. I have helix mega si . I would assume Lowrance has a splitter cable for side imaging as well .

New member, about to buy a Grizzly 1648

I’ve got a 2019 1648 Mvx . Same boat no console. I fish electric only. Same bow mount w/o link. Helix 10 g2n at the bow with 360 and a helix 9 si g3n at the tiller. Your far better of to get the networkable units. That way you and company can see all the same stuff. In my boat what’s good for...

Battery life without a charging system

I run electric only lakes. I have been for 30 plus years . I have had from a 12 ft rivited jon to what I have now. 1648 welded grizzly. I keep four group 31 batteries in my boat. 2 for my 80 lb terrova. One for my 55 lb minn Kota on the transom. One for the electrical load of the boat I.e...

Bow Mounted Trolling Foot Controlled from Stern

Nice boat. I too have been doing it this way for decades since the original powerxrive came out . Only time I stand on the bow is bed fishing. I have never liked being tied to a tm. Man have they changed over the years and gone up in price! Think I paid 450 for my 1st one new .People use to...

It’s all good but I’m a member of the over the hill club and the hand rail is what sold me on it.

Building Electric boat G3 1652 hull

I run electric lakes only with a 2019 tracker grizzly 1648 MVX . Bow mount is a Bluetooth terrova with I-pilot 80 lb thrust and an 80 lb thrust on the transom . No speed demon but it will take me anywhere on the lake on a long day and still have enough to get back to the dock.

    bow trailer steps

Yes it has two u bolts that go around the stand. I run a bt terrova . The electric steer motors stick out more than the old school tm and no it does not get in the way when it’s mounted.

As far as articulation yes but once you tighten them down there Pretty solid

Bow mount trolling motor bouncing around

Ram mount is best . Ram makes a mount with a claw that works awesome for a Powerdrive or terrova. You do want to do something to help stop the movement .i had a pd v2 that I had forever that it wore the drive housing from the bouncing going down the road. I had to replace the steering...
