I would consider removing the head and tap on the pistons with a block of wood and a mallet. Don't get carried away. Use more Kroil or the concoction CedarRiver mentioned and keep it turned up where it is standing full enough to keep soaking. Give it a sharp rap and let it set just keep bumping...

Are you sure you got carbs as clean as you thought you did? Not idling except with the primer on is indicative that it is starving for fuel. Did you soak the carb or just use spray cleaner, use use a small wire and compressed air to clean all passages?

Word to the wise. Test that stuff on some scraps before you spray it. I am pretty handy at spraying spray cans but every type of zinc chromate I have ever sprayed wanted to run terribly. You need to shake that stuff to your arm falls off and just fog it on.

Some are like that. You ought to have to lay under heavy equipment to do that with grade 8 bolts that you have had to heat cherry red and let cool naturally to loose their hardness then do what he did. Done it for hours/days on end.
