    Navionics/HDS 8 unit display's deep as shallow?

Maybe I'm all messed up here but when I run my Navionics in my HDS 8 the deep water is light blue and the shallow water shows dark blue. Shouldn't this be the opposite as in the deep water should be dark blue and the shallow light blue? Or is there a way to change this? Thanks for you time! Scott

    Tracker 1542 Live Well Idea!

Hey I have a crazy idea for the center seat live well as I believe along with a lot of people that it is way too small and not very usable. I'm thinking of figuring a way just to seal the seat around the edges (maybe epoxy etc) and just use the whole inside of the seat for the live well. Run the...

Boat stability question from a new guy?

I have a 12 foot shallow v row boat. I found a great deal on a 16 foot flatbottom. He said it is 40" wide and I'm not sure if thats bottom or top. Anyway do you feel a 16' flat bottom will be more stable then the shallow V. I'm fishing a private lake with no wake. Thanks for your help guys! Scott
