Maybe I'm all messed up here but when I run my Navionics in my HDS 8 the deep water is light blue and the shallow water shows dark blue. Shouldn't this be the opposite as in the deep water should be dark blue and the shallow light blue? Or is there a way to change this? Thanks for you time! Scott

I have a 12 foot shallow v row boat. I found a great deal on a 16 foot flatbottom. He said it is 40" wide and I'm not sure if thats bottom or top. Anyway do you feel a 16' flat bottom will be more stable then the shallow V. I'm fishing a private lake with no wake. Thanks for your help guys! Scott
