Navionics/HDS 8 unit display's deep as shallow?

Maybe I'm all messed up here but when I run my Navionics in my HDS 8 the deep water is light blue and the shallow water shows dark blue. Shouldn't this be the opposite as in the deep water should be dark blue and the shallow light blue? Or is there a way to change this? Thanks for you time!

you should be able to change it in your color pallet

hmmm will check that out I didn't think there was a color palette for the mapping.
