OK thanks a lot! I made sure there were no rivets or anything on the underside of the boat before I mounted the transducer there. It looked nice and smooth.

Newbie here. I'm afraid I may have mounted my transducer too close too my little trolling motor. Any thoughts? I haven't had it out yet, just thought I'd ask to be prepared to have to move it. I didn't want to go further out since it would sit right in front of that bunk. I guess I could've gone...
