    Motor selection

I'm looking into getting a new 1754 tracker grizzly. I think the max HP is 90. I currently have a 20hp and a 35hp both Rudes. Do u think these will push it ok or should I really just look into buying a bigger one? Does anyone have a 25 or 30 on thier 1754? Are these better matches for 1648? I...

old beat up 16 Lowe convert to duck boat.

You should not have any trouble with the pressure tank being so far. They are expensive though, because they are so hard to find now a days. They have a pump built in that primes the carb, then the motor pressurizes the tank as it runs. If you find one u will probably need a rebuild kit for...

    Shaft length V.S. transom height

So what would be a good starting point for the trim. Straight up and down? When the motor is in the water, the cavitation plate is 4" under the water. Running at full throttle it is at least 2" almost 3" under water.

    Tank ID.

Can anyone ID this tank? My dad had a bunch in the back yard an i was wondering if i could use it for anything. It looks like an old pressure tank for a merc. just not sure how old. It has an air and fuel line but no pump and the handle opens up to reveal the fill hole. If anyone can give a...

    Evinrude 9.5hp no spark

OK so I'm at a loss on this motor right now. I installed a fuel pump kit and cleaned out the carb. The motor runs but very rough. I narrowed it down to the top cylinder not having any spark. The lower cylinder has a very bright, strong spark. I popped off the the flywheel and the coils...

    9.5 throttle question.

I think i found a link to the service manual. It explains how to do it on there. Thanks

    9.5 throttle question.

Ok, i'm back again. I have a 69 9.5hp Rude motor (M 9922s) that i'm working on as well and i took off the carb. for a rebuild kit. When putting back on i don't know how to correctly adjust the throttle linkage (if you can call it that). The throttle moves a plate under the flywheel...

    15 HP Evinrude tank ?

Thanks for the help. I think i found someone with a pressure tank at a reasonable rate.

    15 HP Evinrude tank ?

My understanding was that they only produced like 4-7 psi. I would think that any tank would be able to take that. I will post pics once i get it installed.

    15 HP Evinrude tank ?

I just got this old evinrude 15hp fastwin, or super fastwin, not sure which. Any ways i got for 75$ but no tank. It has the three prong fuel inlet so it needs a pressure tank. My question is can i make my own tank? What im thinking is if putting an extra inlet on a tank and using that as the...
