Ok, i'm back again.
I have a 69 9.5hp Rude motor (M 9922s) that i'm working on as well and i took off the carb. for a rebuild kit. When putting back on i don't know how to correctly adjust the throttle linkage (if you can call it that). The throttle moves a plate under the flywheel with a cam. There is a plastic pin that rides on the cam, that in turn pushes on a plastic bushing that opens the throttle on the carb.
Ok, so i loosened the plastic bushing assembly to remove the carb. and not sure were to set it back to have proper throttle response. I took a guess and at full throttle i set the bushing to be in full contact with the plastic pin, But now i think that the throttle does not move the bushing till after the "start" setting on the throttle ring.
Sorry if i confused anyone. Kinda hard to explain.
