This Dura Craft is I think 16' the owner can't tell me much they are old and just don't know, owner says early 70's with 80's 50hpm Johnson.
Only 2 pictures given and hour away....wish people knew what they have when selling. Anyway only asking $1500.
All I can find is on iboats that Dura Craft...
Looking at the same boat here in Fl,,,no motor either,,,,how hard is it do the transom? Yours looks alot nicer then this one and asking 1500, prices are so high here. Thinking about putting a 70hp Johnson on it.
Seen a few, Monarch & Fisher seems to have all metal decks, Trackers has wood. Did find a cheapy for 2k.
Funny how little people know about there boats, he said it had a merc on it. Then said he started running poorly last month, I asked if he checked oil reservoir or gas mix and had no idea...
I know it's not a Fisherman or Pro-Elite but thoughts on this for inshore gulf waters and lakes in Fl? Slightly under powered by 60hp Merc but it's a 2001 model and I'm not for speed as much for general use. Should have come with a 75hp from factory.... Hull is .090; Pro-Elite is .100' Fisherman...
Yes Mariner is CC 18' I love those 3 cylinder Johnson very easy to work on. Had a Lund with rollers and liked it for loading and unload by myself plus some swallow ramps here (FL) helps. I've seen wood/carpet bunks eat thru some bottoms as well. All those Great Lakes boat have rollers. Title is...
iBoats says max size is 150hp, Yes looking at it this week. Lot of boat! Also looking at a 1987 Starcraft 18' Mariner same $$ but older with 70ho Johnson which I love. Both have roller bunks Resale is better with Lund but I don't like the weight. Starcraft garage kept and really clean.
Everyone seen one of these. 1992 19' Deluxe with a 90hp Honda which seems under powered.
Roller trailer has kicker trolling motor with 2 fish finders etc. Water stains are a concern but not as bad if it were fiberglass.
Asking $4800. Fl coastal fishing will be use. That's a lot of boat.
I agree with iBoats, must be around 800lbs.
I guess a 60hp should do fine. Has a Dol-Fin too. I always liked the 3 cylinder Johnsons.
I had a Triton 2000 17' aluminum with a Merc 60 and did fine.
Found that 1990 Deep V-17 weight is 675 rated @40hp, 1991 & 1992 is 871 rated @60hp but 1993 is 1586 rated @ 40hp.
Recently saw a 1993 Deep V-17 in person and plate said rated @90hp max and has 60hp Johnson on it.
Info from J.D. Power prices, values, specs.
What gives? Must be incorrect...
Sellers is staying everything was cleaned at motor rebuild, used in brackish and fresh water.
I like the high free board and ladder for swimming. Light weight for towing helps too.
Don't think I could loss money on this one, could sell it for what I pay I'm sure if it doesn't work out.
I have...
Thoughts on a 1998 SS181 with 3.0l I/O new head, carb rebuild, complete outdrive redone. 2nd gen DDIS ignition. Never owned I/O but many boats and can work on most anything. 80 yr man asking $2500. In Florida will use it for Gulf inshore and lakes. Thoughts?
