I'd have to say that the foot controlled trolling motor has to be on the list. Motorguide is responsible for hands free boat control I believe. Bass fishing from a boat would be tougher without one. If I am wrong I will most surely be corrected. Keep'er Wet, Dave

The cane pole, took us from a stick to a pole.

More importantly, the boat motor.
Prior to the boat motor it was all oars.
