12/5 & 12/6.

Went to the River for a few hours on Friday, and had another slow day, but managed a couple. The water was very dingy (borderline muddy) in a few places, but fishable. Had no luck on Jigs or Spinnerbaits, but did manage a couple on Finesse worms. Black and Redbug were what they bit. Total was 1 dink (no pic.), and one at 3lb. 15oz.

Brain fart......... I hit the submit button before posting the next days trip.... #-o
Anywho, went to Beautiful Lake Greenwood the following day after some Crappie. Had a decent day with most all being caught on Minnows. The White Perch were out in force, and could not hardly keep a bait in the water without the Perch pestering us (my Dad calls them "wrinkle necks" saying he believes they lay on the bottom looking up waiting for your minnow... :shock: ). We did manage to keep a couple dozen in the 3/4 to 1 1/4 lb. range, but no Slabs. Weather was right around the 45 deg. mark, with light to no wind. Had to use the Trolling Moter to bump us along. Most fish caught about 12 to 14 ft. Water Temp was 43 and fairly clear..

Side bar....... There must have been 20 to 25 boats in the area when we got to our spot at 7 am... Spider riggers everywhere.....

Thanks and yes....... we were using 1/16 oz bullet weights on 2/0 hooks....
