Well 4 years later, finally getting started on this boat project. It's a 1985 Bluefin, got the boat and trailer for 300 bucks when I was in high school. It leaked a little when I bought so I put the steelflex on it, but after 4 years that has started to crack. So I'm going to get new rivets in it to take care of the leaks. I'll be using it as a duck boat and to fish when out of season. I just purchased one of those long tail mud motor kits and put it on the boat, and let me tell you that thing is sweet! I want to get a grab bar so I can stand while driving. I also need something to keep the motor from falling all the way down when I'm not holding on to it. It's on a free swivel so if you aren't holding on to the handle, the tail will just drop down till it hits something.

Good looking rig.

My Dad's go-devil is the same way. He attached a nylon strap to the floor, loop in the strap slides over the handle. Works great.
