14 foot v hull jon boat - My first boat

Im 15 and this is my first boat! Just got a 14 foot v hull jon boat that I plan on painting. I am wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions for painting aluminum? I plan on using enamel but...Does anyone recommend a type of paint for aluminum?

I wouldn't paint that boat. I'd scrub it with a cleaning pad and a 50/50 vinegar and water solution and just go fishing. The holes I assume are bolt or rivet holes and can be filled with JB weld or 3m 5200 or similar products. Congrats on the boat!

Good looking boat! Really looks in pretty good shape.
But it is a semi V not a Jon boat.
