First post on TinBoats. Great site, by the way. Bought the boat from my uncle. Used to belong to his dad. It's a little rough right now but these are the first pictures and I haven't touched it yet. Looking forward to getting it on the water with my young kids.

First thing on the list is a good cleaning and then replace the transom. More pictures here: 14' Richline

Thanks!

Kevin

Nothing wrong with the Boat or the Motor. I have lot's of miles around Puget Sound with a Johnson 15 and later on an 18.
Check the Rivets below the waterline, by lightly tapping. The bad ones will sound Bad! Like Dead!

Got the boat in the water Labor Day. Biggest job was replacing the transom. Still need to replace the winch and trailer lights/wiring. It's a little leaky (~ 1 cup of water an hour). Not too concerned about it at this time. Got skunked on this outing so still waiting to land the first fish in the new old boat. 8)

I love generational boats.

That is onehelluva motor. Bring it to health and your kids will be able to post here in 20 years.

Be safe, have fun.
