Been following for a little bit. Decided I wanted to completely redo my bateau for a little better fishing down the bayou. I used to just have a floor in bottom with a 15 ho Mercury. Got a nice 1994 Mercury 40 that I stalled on a static jack plate. I have the new floor in and just installed the console. Got new steering cable on the way and plan on starting to extend the front deck by 15" and close in rear deck. Couple questions for you experts... What is better- to make a door the whole width of the front deck that is extended or make the deck solid and cut a hatch in? Both have pros and cons just wanted to see what y'all think. Next- Can anyone tell me how hard it is or if possible to flip the throttle handle on remote control box for this motor? Just looking for tips before I go dive into it. Thanks everyone
