This is a work in progress. I'll get to work on it in 2 weeks once summer starts.

This is what I'm working with:

1436 riveted (not what I originally wanted, but a deal is a deal when there's money in hand) with a 15 hp Mercury on the back.

While I'm in school, I don't have the time to make the drive to my stomping grounds back home, and a 12' fiberglass jon boat with a 30lb trolling motor wasn't cutting it on the big water up here. Around the big lakes up here, there are turkey and deer to hunt, along with waterfowl to kill, and of course fish to catch. I know there are stripers and bass (bumming rides and catching fish works as scouting  ) that aren't that hard to figure out up here.

I'm thinking about pulling middle seat, adding a little bit of a front deck/platform, and adding a floor. Camo and a blind will come next fall for ducks/geese. I'm focusing on getting it ready for the salt in a month or so. Plenty of small stuff, maybe a livewell or atleast a baitwell and some storage up front and maybe under the back seat too.

Thinking about modeling it after this War Eagle layout.

Nice little boat. The 15 should push you around nicely.
