Here is where the seats, rod holders, the rope lights, depth finder, My home made switch box that you can see better in the next two picters, the gas tank, my 1992 25 hp suzuki motor, and the start of the wireing is finished. This took us maybe 4 hours.022201_2156[00].jpg

What the crap man

your not allowed to start off doing that good so soon

seriously killer job, thats gonna be a beast of a boat, so your front platform is it for bow shooting?

still killer job so far =D>

I have the same boat and really love it. I liked your first photo. It's good to have perspective about a project. Maybe you should name the boat "A Fistful of Dollars"! Really nice work so far. By the looks of your shop you may be a farmer - nice to have a big shop and some skills to go with it.

The platform is for a few things i guess i wanted it for bowfishing what i do not do a lot of,,,, yet but plan to start doing more of that another thing i do is alot of beaver hunting in the spring, ill post a picture of my old boat that will explain some of it. and another reason i really wanted it is when i am going down one of the rivers by my house for bowhuning the banks are steep and now it will just be 3 steps up to the bank instead of crawling up it, which is pretty difficult with a stand and bow and backpack on and whatever else i have just makes everything much more simple, and also the other thing i wanted it for storage kinda i can slide stuff under the deck and still be able to get out the front easy.

Bobberboy the funny thing is i already was looking at your boat before i went to pick this one up i like what you did with your back bench and the 3 piece floor i kinda copied your design or used it as guidelines as your setup was much more detailed. also i was wondering i see you have a power trim on your boat. do you like it? i am thinking about getting a cmc powertrim for mine but cant decide it its worth 500 bucks or it its something i should just wait for till i get a new motor.

I miss big beavers.. When I was growing up I got to spend alot of time at my grandpa's place outside deadwood, S.D. I live in georgia now not alot of beavers to trap here, awesome build brings back great memorys.
THANKS.

here is the finishing touches to the boat the only thing left is trolling motor i as i am not sure what i want yet kinda looking for a newer used one and have some trailer worrk yet want bigger tires and redo the back guideons and rewire the tralier. and stil thinking about a trim or jack plate.030301_2014[00].jpg030301_2014[01].jpg030301_2106[00].jpg030301_2141[00].jpg030801_2041[00].jpg030801_2136[00].jpg031101_2229[00].jpg

Well, he had some modifications done to the motor. But it shows the power that you can get out of a 3 cylinder motor

do you know what the cost would be to do these mods port and polished, shaved head, and boysen reeds? nd if done can your turn your motor into a jet? or would it be better to get ike a 40 hp and just turn that into a jet motor?
